Delta Airlines kitchen catering chaos: people angrily criticize suppliers for lax management
Guys, have you ever expected to enjoy a delicious airplane meal at an altitude of 10,000 meters? However, the reality is often surprising! No, Delta Airlines has once again been on the hot search because of food safety issues, which is simply unbearable!
On October 16, Delta Airlines' Detroit Aviation Kitchen failed the inspection, causing passengers on 200 flights to fly "on an empty stomach". This is not the first time. In July this year, passengers also ate moldy chicken on the plane, causing 24 people to be rushed to the hospital! It's scary to think about it. This is not enjoying the flight, it's simply "eating with life"!
What's more annoying is that this problem has long been a "commonplace" in the American aviation industry. Before the epidemic, various food safety scandals emerged one after another. Someone found live rodents with feces and nesting materials in the kitchen of Minneapolis Airport, and someone saw improperly preserved food at Washington Dulles International Airport. This is simply "poisoning" the passengers' stomachs!
In the final analysis, the root of these problems lies in the management of suppliers. The loopholes between airlines and food suppliers have given unsafe food an opportunity to take advantage. In order to maximize profits, these companies often ignore the importance of food safety and even violate regulations. Coupled with the lack of enforcement of US food safety standards, these companies are more unscrupulous in circumventing standards and producing unsafe food.
As consumers, we can no longer be "silent lambs"! We must call loudly for airlines and food suppliers to strictly manage and strengthen supervision to ensure our food safety! After all, no one wants to have a "thrilling" meal on the plane!
